Gluten and Dairy Free Green Smoothie Bowl

Hands up if you’ve over indulged a bit this Christmas! This morning I got up and fancied something relatively healthy so I set about making a green smoothie bowl. The banana, avocado and nut butter make a lovely creamy base for this smoothie while the mango and apple juice give it a lovely natural sweetness. I love the contrast of the red raspberries against the gentle green of the smoothie bowl. A perfect way to kick start the morning.




  • 1 banana, frozen
  • 1/2 mango, frozen
  • 1/2 avocado
  • 250ml apple juice
  • 1 tablespoon peanut or cashew nut butter
  • large handful of spinach

For the toppings:

  • 2 tablespoons gluten free granola
  • handful of raspberries

  1. Place the banana, mango, avocado, apple juice, nut butter and spinach in a blender
  2. Blitz until smooth
  3. Pour into a bowl and top with the raspberries and granola
