Welcome to my latest recipe for Gluten and Dairy Free Mushroom Toast.

How have you been spending your time over the Easter weekend?  I can’t help but notice that my chosen nail polish colour this week has the aptly named title of Social Detox!

Final recipe of the week is for this super simple but amazingly tasty mushroom toast.  Really easy to through together and have on the table for lunch in no time.

I think I’ll spend a bit time in the kitchen this afternoon – I want to prep some overnight oats, make my own granola and maybe some individual cheesecakes for dessert.

  1. Preheat the oven to 180 oC

  2. Arrange the slices of bread onto a baking sheet

  3. Place the olive oil into a shallow pan over a medium heat

  4. Sauté the chilli flakes, onion, garlic, chorizo and mushrooms until golden, about 10 minutes

  5. Place the mushroom mix into the bowl and stir in the dairy free cream cheese, basil and season to taste

  6. Spoon onto the bread

  7. Bake in the oven for 12 minutes

  8. Enjoy warm
