Hello everyone, welcome to my latest recipe for my Mum’s 70th Birthday Cake.
It was my Mum’s 70th birthday last week so we used Easter weekend to celebrate with her – she was actually born on Easter Sunday. We went for dinner at a local Italian restaurant – the gluten free pizza was superb.
I love baking birthday cakes for my family and friends and lucky enough for me they are always happy with a gluten and dairy free version so I can enjoy it with them. I’m not the best at decorating big cakes like this but one of the things I can make are chocolate cigarillos. I’ve posted a link in the recipe to the article I used to learn how to make them.
You can also easily buy lots of cool decorations to put on cakes and a lot of the websites list the ingredients so you can make sure you are buying gluten and dairy free ones.
