Hello everyone, welcome to my latest recipe for Gluten Free and Dairy Free Tamari Chicken Stir Fry.
Hope you all had a lovely Easter weekend. I had a great mixture of spending time with family, focusing on the website, doing a bit of shopping and just generally chilling out.
I’ve figured out my recipes for the next few weeks and I’ve got a real mix coming up from chai spiced apple turnovers to a simple pasta dish you can make in one pot.
I’ve noticed that I tend to post a lot of recipes in a bowl – doesn’t seem to matter if it is breakfast, lunch or dinner. Today’s recipe is no exception and is for a beautiful big bowl of tamari chicken. The sauce takes minutes to make just simmering together a few ingredients and then stirring through your cooked chicken, vegetables and rice.

Tamari Chicken Stir Fry (Gluten Free, Dairy Free)
A delicious chicken stir fry with a tamari sauce
For the sauce:
Cook the rice according to the instructions on the packet while you are making the chicken tamari
Heat a drizzle of olive oil in a shallow pan over a medium heat
Add in the chicken and garlic and sauté for 8 minutes
Add in the broccoli, peppers, onion and seasoning
Cook for 5-7 minutes then set aside
Make the sauce by placing the tamari, honey, garlic, ginger, vinegar and chilli flakes into a pan over a medium heat
Mix the cornflour and water together and pour into the sauce
Bring to the boil and simmer, stirring frequently, for 6 minutes or until thickened
You can add more water if the sauce is too thick
Pour the sauce over the chicken and vegetables
Divide the rice between two bowls, top with the tamari chicken and sprinkle on the sesame seeds
