Hello everyone, welcome to my latest recipe for Gluten Free and Dairy Free Creamy Pesto Chicken Pasta.

I love a great big comforting bowl of pasta after a long day at work.  Even though I’m gluten free I still enjoy my carbohydrates and I do like my pasta with a creamy sauce even though I can’t have dairy.

The base of this pasta dish is pan fried chicken, mushrooms, onion and tomatoes.  I’ve then make a light sauce from dairy free basil pesto and milk.

I actually prepped this dish last Sunday when I was making my dinner and then reheated it after work on the Monday night.  It actually worked really well as a dish you make the day before if you are struggling for time during the week.

Creamy Pesto Chicken Pasta (Gluten Free, Dairy Free)

A creamy pesto sauce with chicken, mushrooms and tomatoes stirred through pasta



  1. Cook the pasta per the instructions on the packet and set aside 

  2. Add the olive oil to a shallow pan over a medium heat

  3. Add in the garlic, chilli flakes and chicken

  4. Saute for 5 minutes

  5. Add in the onion, mushrooms and cherry tomatoes

  6. Cook for anther 5 minutes

  7. Stir in the dairy free milk and pesto 

  8. Cook for 5 minutes

  9. Season to taste

  10. Stir through the pasta and serve
