Italian Apple Tart (Gluten & Dairy Free)

Difficulty: Beginner Prep Time 10 min Cook Time 55 min Total Time 1 hr 5 mins Servings: 8 Best Season: Spring


A beautiful apple cake which can be served either hot or cold



  1. Preheat the oven to 18o oC

  2. Grease and line a 9" springform tin

  3. Core all three apples, slice one into wedges and cube the other two

  4. Place the apple wedges in the base of the tin

  5. In a large bowl beat together the eggs, sugar, spread, milk, flour, and zest until it forms a batter

  6. Stir in the other two diced apples

  7. Pour this mixture over the apples in the cake tin

  8. Bake in the centre of the oven for 55 minutes

  9. Remove from the oven and invert onto a plate

  10. Serve either hot or cold
