Hello everyone, welcome to my latest recipe for Gluten Free and Dairy Free Steak Tacos.
I started today by trimming Ollie cat’s nails – he always creates a total drama. When he sees the clippers there is usually a lot of shouting and screaming and then he sits quietly and lets me do it. This little photo series captures the unhappy face when he sees the clippers, the vocal disagreement prior to starting and then the emotional exhaustion when it is over! He is such a little diva:
Anyway, back to today’s recipe – I could eat this type of Mexican food everyday. A lovely big platter of steak, onion, peppers, salad, avocado and dairy free cheese with some gluten free corn tacos – perfection.

Steak Tacos (Gluten Free, Dairy Free)
For the steak:
Heat a little olive oil in a shallow pan
Cut the steaks into strips and place in a bowl with the oregano, cayenne pepper, sugar, cinnamon and lime juice
Cook the diced onion and peppers for five minutes on a medium heat
Add the seasoned steak strips and cook on high for another five minutes
Serve with taco shells, fresh coriander, tomatoes, avocado, tomatoes and grated dairy free cheese
