Hello everyone, welcome to my latest recipe for Gluten and Dairy Free BBQ Pulled Pork Sweet Potatoes. I don’t know about you but I always make a tonne of pulled pork in the slow cooker. I usually serve it in buns with fries and coleslaw for dinner the first night. After that I’m always after a few new ideas to use up the leftovers.

This recipe makes a perfect lunch or light dinner. I’ve baked slices of sweet potato in the oven and topped with bbq pulled pork, avocado and dairy free cheese. 

I know I’ve talked a few times about changing the website but this time I’m really into it. I’ve build the new framework and taxonomy that will allow you to search by ingredient, course, cuisine, season etc! I’ve now need to rebuild each recipe page – so far I’ve done 77 only 1,123 to go.

Gluten and Dairy Free BBQ Pulled Pork Sweet Potatoes are perfect for a lunch or light dinner, they are also low carb.



  1. Preheat the oven to 200oC
  2. Cut the sweet potatoes into thick horizontal slices
  3. Place on a baking sheet, brush with olive oil and season with salt and pepper
  4. Plate the sweet potato slices, top with warm BBQ pulled pork, mashed avocado and grated dairy free cheese
