Morning everyone, I’ve got a new breakfast recipe for Gluten and Dairy Free Individual Shakshuka. I’ve been a bit quiet on the website over the last few weeks while I recover from Covid. Unfortunately I’ve had really bad nausea so haven’t been feeling like working on new recipes. Luckily I’m starting to enjoy food again and I’m developing some exciting things to share with you. To get me back on track I thought I would quickly write up this simple recipe for individual shakshuka I enjoyed for breakfast this morning.

Best Season: Suitable throughout the year



  1. Place the olive oil, chilli and onion in a small shallow pan over a medium heat

  2. Saute for 5 minutes

  3. Stir in the chopped tomatoes, coriander, seasoning and sugar 

  4. Make a small well in the middle of the tomato mix and crack in your egg

  5. Cover with a lid and simmer for 6-8 minutes or until your egg is cooked

  6. I served mine with a homemade gluten free flatbread
