Welsh Cakes (Gluten Free, Dairy Free)

Place the flour and baking powder into a large bowl

Rub the dairy free spread into the flour until it resembles breadcrumbs

Stir in the sugar and sultanas

Mix in the egg and milk until it forms a smooth dough

Flatten out on a lightly floured surface until it is a couple of centimetres thick

Using a 3" round cutter stamp out the welsh cakes

Heat a little oil in a frying pan and cook the welsh cakes over a medium heat for 3-4 minutes on each side
