Hello everyone, welcome to my latest recipe for Gluten and Dairy Free Gingerbread Waffles.
I love the warming flavour of spices like cinnamon and ginger and try to put them in everything. When I’m making waffles I usually have a basic recipe I use and add additions to it like chocolate chips, fruit etc. I was feeling a bit adventurous this weekend so decided to have a go at making a brand new waffle recipe that gave a little nod to the gingerbread cake, hope you like it.
You could also use this recipe to make pancakes if you don’t have a waffle iron.

Gingerbread Waffles (Gluten Free, Dairy Free)
Place the treacle, honey and dairy free spread in a pan
Melt over a medium heat then leave to cool slightly
In a large bowl mix together the flour, ginger, cinnamon and baking powder
Stir in the egg, milk and treacle mix
Heat a waffle iron and cook for about 4-5 minutes
Serve with some fruit and dairy free yoghurt
