Hello everyone, my latest recipe is for this Gluten and Dairy Free Hot Mulled Apple.
I’ll confess this is an old recipe but I thought it was worth sharing again. I think I made this the first year I had the website, it was photographed horribly and hidden away in the miscellaneous section of the site. I’ve actually been making this drink quite a lot recently and I thought it deserved better. So I’ve rephotographed it so it actually looks appetising and I’m rethinking how I categorise my recipes.
It is on my to do list to have a look at how I have all the recipes categorised – I think I’m definitely going to add in a drinks sections. I have a lot of smoothies, hot drinks and other things, like this recipe, floating around in a number of existing categorises.
Anyway if you are after a comforting Autumnal hot drink then this might be the recipe for you.

Hot Mulled Apple (Gluten & Dairy Free)
Place the apple juice, maple syrup, cinnamon sticks, cloves, oranges and lemons in a large saucepan
Heat gently for about 10 minutes
Discard the cinnamon sticks, cloves, oranges and lemons
Pour carefully into mugs and enjoy
