Hello everyone, welcome to my latest recipe for Gluten and Dairy Free Honeycomb Tiffin.
I was looking for a transportable dessert to take to my sisters. It had to survive being taken into work for the day and a trip to the hospital for a scan of my funny leg. Rather than make a pie or a cheesecake that would either be a pile of crumbs or a melted mess I thought I would make a tray bake.
I decided to go with chocolate tiffin as I had all the ingredients in the cupboard. A while ago one of my lovely followers asked me if I had a gluten and dairy free tiffin recipe on the site. The closest I had was a no bake chocolate slice recipe. It was definitely time to get baking.
There was some honeycomb pieces in the cupboard which I thought would make a nice addition to the tiffin. The honeycomb makes it taste a bit like a crunchy bar.
