Instructions

  1. To make the bun dough combine all the ingredients, except the peel and sultanas, in a large bowl and beat for 5 minutes with an electric paddle mixer or hand knead on a well floured surface
  2. Mix in the peel and sultanas
  3. Divide into six and shape into buns
  4. Place on a baking sheet lined with parchment and place in a warm, draft free area for 20 minutes
  5. Preheat the oven to 200oC
  6. Mix the gluten free flour and water together until it forms a smooth paste
  7. Place in a small icing bag and pipe a cross on each bun
  8. Place in the middle of the oven for 20 minutes
  9. Remove from the oven and glaze immediately with the orange marmalade
  10. Allow to cool and serve with jam
