Hello everyone, welcome to my latest recipe for Gluten Free and Dairy FreeĀ Mediterranean Macaroni Cheese.
A little twist on the classic macaroni cheese, I took my gluten and dairy free macaroni cheese and added in some Italian herbs and sundried tomatoes. Not really a new recipe but I thought it was worth sharing with you guys.

Mediterranean Macaroni Cheese (Gluten Free, Dairy Free)
Ingredients
Instructions

Preheat the oven to 180 oC

Place the pasta in a pan of salted boiling water and cook per the instructions on the packet

Melt the butter in a medium sized saucepan over a medium heat

Stir in the flour and onion powder until it forms a smooth paste

Gradually pour in the milk and stir continually until the sauce comes to the boil

Simmer until the sauce thickens, about 2 minutes

Stir in 2/3 of the cheese, the herbs and the sundried tomatoes

Season with salt and pepper

Stir through the pasta
-
Pour in a casserole dish and top with the remaining cheese

Bake in the oven until golden and bubbling, about 10-15 minutes
