Hello everyone, it’s time for a new recipe – delicious Gluten Free and Dairy Free Brunch Pizza. I used my simple recipe to make a gluten free pizza base and topped it with my favourite brunch items. This pizza is based on one that I used to get at a pizza place in Edinburgh but they call it the hangover pizza!
I hope you are finding the new website much easier to use. I’ll keep working away in the background converting the old recipes so you’ll gradually start to see them appear over the next few weeks. It has been a tricky couple of months converting the website and I’m looking forward to finishing it up and spending more of my time on new recipes.
Don’t worry I have a few new recipes I’ll publish over the next couple of weeks including a Marble Espresso Bundt Cake, Louisiana Rice and a Pear and Raspberry Bakewell Tart.

Brunch Pizza (Gluten Free, Dairy Free)
Ingredients
Pizza Base:
For the toppings:
Instructions
To make the pizza base:
-
Mix the dry ingredients together in a large mixing bowl and stir in the olive oil and water
-
Beat with a dough hook on an electric blender for 5 minutes or knead by hand, cover the bowl with cling film and leave in a warm place for one hour
-
Remove the dough from the bowl and wrap in the cling film and refrigerate for one hour
-
Preheat the oven to 200 oC, roll out the pizza dough into a 12 " circle and prick the dough with a fork, this stops air bubbles forming in the dough as it cooks
To assemble the pizza:
-
Add the olive oil, sage, garlic and turkey mince to a shallow pan over a medium heat. Cook until browned, about 10 minutes.
-
Spread the pizza sauce on the base and top with the turkey mince
-
Sprinkle on the dairy free grated cheese and make three indents in the pizza. Gently crack an egg into each one.
-
Bake in the oven for 12-15 minutes for until the eggs are cooked and the base is golden
-
Serve topped with the rocket
