Hello everyone, missing Chinese then try my latest at home ‘takeaway’ recipe for Gluten Free and Dairy Free Easy Szechwan Prawns. I’m super lucky that my local Chinese has a few gluten free options on their menu so I don’t feel like I’m missing out. I usually go for some sticky ribs and szechwan chicken with plain rice.
I like to have a go at making these types of dishes at home. Usually because I make them a bit healthier and I’m always trying to cut down on takeaways (and usually failing). As I’m sitting writing this I’m enjoying a delicious big bowl of chicken and vegetable satay noodles. I’ll add this recipe to my to do list to photograph and add into the website.

Easy Szechwan Prawns (Gluten Free, Dairy Free)
For the sauce:
Heat the olive oil in a shallow saucepan over a medium heat
Stir in the onion, pepper, garlic and saute for 5 minutes
Add in the prawns and cook for 2 minutes
Stir together all the ingredients for the sauce and pour into the pan over the prawns
Cook for a couple of minutes until thickened
Serve over rice
