Hello everyone, welcome to my latest recipe for this delicious Gluten Free and Dairy Free Chocolate and Hazelnut French Toast.
This is the ultimate decadent breakfast – I only make this as a treat every so often. In reality I wish I could eat it everyday!
A while back I shared a recipe on how to make a dairy free version of Nutella. I usually always have a jar now in the cupboard and use it on pancakes, in baking and any else I can get away with spreading it on.
If you don’t have the time to make your own chocolate and hazelnut spread you can now buy it from the free from section in the supermarket or online.

Chocolate and Hazelnut French Toast (Gluten Free, Dairy Free)
Whisk together the egg, dairy free milk and icing sugar.
Spread the chocolate and hazelnut spread on the bread and sandwich together.
Heat a drizzle of olive oil in a shallow pan. Dip both sides of the sandwich in the egg mix.
Fry in the pan for a couple of minutes each side or until golden brown. Cut in half and dust with icing sugar.
