Hello everyone, welcome to my latest recipe for Gluten Free and Dairy Free Cajun Prawns.
I’m a bit late with this as January is more than halfway through but the picture below shows my top nine posts on Instagram. I think you guys are similar to me and have a bit of a sweet tooth with seven of the posts being cakes or desserts – I love it! I’ll need to make sure I come up with some good sweet treat recipes this year.
Tonight’s dish is the ultimate in making something from bits and pieces I had in the fridge and it actually working out really well. Cajun flavoured prawns, chicken, smoked sausage and lots of vegetables is perfectly accompanied with either some rice or salad and fries.

Cajun Prawns (Gluten Free, Dairy Free)
Add a drizzle of olive oil to a large shallow pan over a medium heat
Sauté the garlic, onion, pepper and chicken for 5 minutes
Add in the prawns and smoked sausage and cook for a couple of minutes
Stir in the Cajun seasoning and oregano
Season to taste
Cook for another minute or until the chicken is ready
Serve with some crispy potatoes or rice
