Hello everyone, my latest recipe is for Gluten and Dairy Free Sweet Chilli Sauce. It is such a great basic to have in your store cupboard. You can use it as a dipping sauce with your homemade dumplings or fish cakes. It also makes a good addition to many Thai dishes. I also like to use it to glaze salmon and roast it in the oven.

Sweet Chilli Sauce (Gluten & Dairy Free)
Perfect for using in your recipes or as a dipping sauce. Try out my recipe for Gluten and Dairy Free Sweet Chilli Sauce.
Place the caster sugar and water into a small saucepan over a medium heat
Over a medium heat, stir until the sugar is dissolved
Bring to the boil for about 5 minutes until thickened
In a small bowl, mix the garlic, ginger, cayenne pepper, chilli flakes, lime juice and soy sauce into a paste
Add the paste into the sugar syrup and boil for another 1-2 minutes
Remove from the heat and allow to cool
