Hello everyone, welcome to my latest baking recipe for these delicious Gluten and Dairy Free Coffee Choc Chip Bars. I wanted to make a tray bake but something that wasn't too chocolatey for a change. I decided to go with a coffee flavour and make something similar to a blondie.
As I couldn't stay fully away from chocolate I decided to add in some dairy free chocolate chips to balance the flavour and give it a mocha style taste. You can adjust the amount of coffee to add to suit your preferences and the dairy free chocolate chips are also completely optional in this recipe. I would like to make this again adding in some white chocolate chunks and maybe some cinnamon - I need to have a little experiment.
