Hello everyone, my latest recipe is for this delicious Homemade Pizza Sauce which is naturally gluten and dairy free. I make this recipe all the time and decided to take the time to photograph it and type it up properly.

This is the perfect recipe to make if you have a load of fresh tomatoes to use up. I tend to make it in a large batch and store it in the freezer until I'm making my own gluten and dairy free pizzas. You can adjust the garlic, herbs and seasoning in this recipe to suit your own preference.

Ingredients
  • 1 garlic clove (minced)
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon dried basil
  • 110 grams cherry tomatoes
  • 200 grams tin of chopped tomatoes
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1/2 tablespoon balsamic vinegar
  • salt and pepper (for seasoning)
Instructions
  1. Place all the ingredients in a large saucepan and bring to the boil with the lid on

  2. Simmer the sauce for 30 minutes and then remove the lid and cook for another 30 minutes stirring occasionally

  3. The sauce should be thick but still juicy

  4. Leftover sauce can be frozen until needed
