    For the base:
  • 4 gluten free naan breads
  • For the pizza sauce:
  • 1 clove of garlic (minced)
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon dried basil
  • 110 grams fresh (ripe tomatoes)
  • 200 grams tin of chopped tomatoes
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1/2 tablespoon balsamic vinegar
  • salt and pepper (to taste)
  • For the toppings:
  • 200 grams dairy free cheese (grated)
  1. To make the pizza sauce, place all the ingredients in a large saucepan and bring to the boil with the lid on
  2. Simmer the sauce for 30 minutes and then remove the lid and cook for another 30 minutes stirring occasionally
  3. The sauce should be thick but still juicy
  4. Preheat the oven to 180 oC
  5. Top the naan breads with the sauce and freeze any leftovers for future pizzas
  6. Sprinkle on the dairy free cheese and any other toppings of your choice
  7. Bake in the oven for 15 minutes
