Hello everyone, welcome to my latest recipe for Gluten Free and Dairy Free Swedish Meatballs.
Hope you have all had a good week. Tonight's recipe is actually a bit of a funny coincidence. I made this a couple of weeks ago after having the idea in my recipe book for ages. Funnily enough Ikea have just released the recipe to make their famous meatballs at home and they are very similar.
I've never had Ikea meatballs and can't vouch whether they taste similar or not but recipe has a lot of common elements. I suppose there isn't that many variations on how you make meatballs.
I don't have mustard in my sauce and I also soak my gluten free breadcrumbs in a little dairy free milk to give the meatballs a softer texture.
Do you have a favourite family meatball recipe you always defer to?
