    For the meatballs:
  • 15 grams gluten free breadcrumbs
  • 60 milliliters dairy free milk
  • 1 garlic clove
  • 1 small egg
  • 1/2 small onion (finely chopped)
  • 2 pinches of nutmeg
  • 250 grams beef mince
  • 125 grams pork mince
  • salt and pepper (for seasoning)
  • For the sauce:
  • 35 grams dairy free spread
  • 15 grams gluten free flour
  • 250 milliliters beef stock
  • 120 milliliters dairy free cream
  • 1 teaspoon tamari
  • Salt and pepper (for seasoning)
  1. Make the meatballs by placing the breadcrumbs, milk, garlic and egg in a large bowl
  2. Add in the seasoning, onion, nutmeg, parsley, beef and pork mince
  3. Mix well and shape into 12 meatballs

  4. Add 1 tbsp of olive oil to a large shallow pan and fry the meatballs until cooked through, about 15 minutes

  5. Remove the pan and start making the sauce
  6. In a new pan over a medium heat add in the dairy free spread and whisk in the flour
  7. Pour in the beef stock and bring to the boilwhile stirring continously

  8. When the sauce has thickened pour in the cream and tamari

  9. Season to taste and serve poured over the meatballs
