Ingredients
  • 200 grams gluten and dairy free plain flour
  • 2 tablespoons ground rice or polenta
  • 170 grams dairy free spread
  • 100 grams caster sugar
  • 2 tablespoons water
  • 2 tablespoons granulated sugar
  • 75 grams dairy free chocolate chips
Instructions
  1. Preheat the oven to 150 oC
  2. Line a 6" by 6" tray bake tin with tinfoil
  3. Cream together the dairy free spread and caster sugar until smooth, about 3 minutes
  4. Add the water, granulated sugar, flour and ground rice/polenta
  5. Stir in the dairy free chocolate chips
  6. Mix until it clumps together into a ball
  7. Press into the tray bake tin
  8. Bake in the centre of the oven for 30 minutes
  9. Remove from the oven and allow to cool completely
  10. Lift out of the tray bake tin and cut into 9 bars
