Description

A dairy free iced latte with homemade chocolate syrup and cold brew coffee

Ingredients
    For the cold brew coffee:
  • 500 ml water
  • 50 g ground coffee beans
  • For the chocolate syrup:
  • 45 g cocoa powder
  • 100 g brown sugar
  • 125 ml water
  • To make each iced latte:
  • 100 ml cold brew coffee
  • 150 ml dairy free milk
  • 2 tbsp chocolate syrup
  • crushed ice
Instructions
    To make the cold brew coffee:
  1. Place the ground coffee and water in a jar and leave at room temperature for 8 hours

  2. Strain the coffee using a fine sieve or a French press

  3. Store in the fridge until you are ready to use

  4. To make the chocolate syrup:
  5. Place the cocoa powder, brown sugar and water in a saucepan over a medium heat

  6. Bring to the boil while stirring continuously

  7. Simmer for five minutes

  8. Store in an airtight container in the fridge

  9. To make each ice latte:
  10. Pour the cold brew into a large glass, stir in the chocolate syrup

  11. Add the crushed ice and then slowly pour in the dairy free milk
