In a large bowl stir together the sugar, yeast and water, leave for 5 minutes. Add the flour, salt, dairy free spread and yoghurt.
Knead by hand for about 5 minutes. Cover the bowl with cling film and leave to rise for 45 minutes.
Knead gently then divide into 2 balls. Drizzle a little olive oil in a frying pan and cook the naan breads for about 3 minutes on each side on a high heat.
I served them hot with a little dairy free spread melted on top and sprinkled with coriander leaves
