My street is looking very colourful and bright with all the decorations.  I feel like everyone has made a real effort and it is nice to finish the year with a bit of extra festive cheer.  I have my Christmas wreath up and hoping it will be dry tomorrow so I can put up the outdoor lights.If you are planning on doing a bit of Christmas decorating this week why not make some mulled wine to enjoy.  I’ve kept my recipe super simple with just a few key ingredients.

  1. Place all the ingredients into a medium sized saucepan

  2. Bring to the boil and turn down to a gentle simmer

  3. Simmer for 15 minutes

  4. Spoon into cups and serve immediately
