Hello everyone, welcome to my latest post for Gluten and Dairy Free Poppyseed Brown Loaf.

Another gluten and dairy free bread recipe, this one is super quick to make and is also yeast free.  You can also bake this in a loaf tin for a more traditional shaped loaf.  If you can’t find brown gluten free bread flour then a white gluten free flour will also work fine.

Description

Try making your own delicious Gluten and Dairy Free Poppyseed Brown Loaf with this easy to follow along recipe.

Ingredients
  • 315 grams gluten free brown bread flour
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 pinch black pepper
  • 2 eggs
  • 185 milligrams dairy free milk
  • 55 grams dairy free spread (melted)
  • 1 tablespoon poppy seeds
Instructions
  1. Preheat the oven to 180 oC.  Place the flour, baking powder, salt and pepper in a large bowl.

  2. Beat together the eggs, milk and dairy free spread.  Mix into the flour until you have a soft dough.

  3. Place on a sheet of grease proof paper and hand shape into an oval loaf.  Make three slits across the top and sprinkle on the poppy seeds.

  4. Bake in the centre of the oven for 45 minutes.  Remove from the oven and allow to cool completely before slicing.
