Description

Try making your own delicious Gluten and Dairy Free Poppyseed Brown Loaf with this easy to follow along recipe.

Ingredients
  • 315 g gluten free brown bread flour
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 pinch black pepper
  • 2 eggs
  • 185 mg dairy free milk
  • 55 g dairy free spread (melted)
  • 1 tbsp poppy seeds
Instructions
  1. Preheat the oven to 180 oC.  Place the flour, baking powder, salt and pepper in a large bowl.

  2. Beat together the eggs, milk and dairy free spread.  Mix into the flour until you have a soft dough.

  3. Place on a sheet of grease proof paper and hand shape into an oval loaf.  Make three slits across the top and sprinkle on the poppy seeds.

  4. Bake in the centre of the oven for 45 minutes.  Remove from the oven and allow to cool completely before slicing.
