Hello everyone

Enjoy!

  1. Gluten and  Dairy Free Mexican Chicken Sizzle

Have a Mexican evening with this lovely spiced chicken with onion and peppers.  I’ve served it with some salad, gluten free tortilla wraps, tortilla chips and let people help themselves.

2. Gluten and Dairy Free Thai Green Chicken Curry

I serve a lot of Thai curries in my house, they are really easy to put together, taste great and best of all a lot of the ingredients used in them are naturally gluten and dairy free.

3. Gluten and Dairy Free Balsamic Glazed Salmon

Salmon roasted in a beautiful balsamic glaze and served with sweet potato fries.  You can make this recipe simpler and quicker by using a shop bought balsamic glaze or preparing the glaze the night before.

4. Gluten and Dairy Free Saag Chicken

I love the bright colour of this curry and it is packed full of goodness from the spinach.  It is one of my quicker curries to put together but still has a great depth of flavour.

5. Gluten and Dairy Free Sundried Tomato Alfredo Pasta

Most pasta dishes are quick to prepare including making the sauce from scratch.  I think with the majority of my recipes you can make the sauce in the time it takes to cook the pasta.  This dish has a lovely dairy free creamy sauce with sundried tomatoes.

6. Gluten and Dairy Free Thai Basil Chicken

This recipe is a bit like a cross between a Thai curry and a stir fry – not sure how well that sells it!  Anyway it tastes amazing but don’t worry if you can’t get Thai Basil just use ordinary basil and most people won’t know the difference.

7. Gluten and Dairy Free Salmon Thai Burgers

Rather than the normal beef burgers try something a bit different for dinner.  The salmon burgers can be prepared the night before to save a bit of time.  That way when you come home from work you just need to cook the salmon burgers and prepare the sides.

8. Gluten and Dairy Free Easy Chicken Korma

Rather than making this chicken korma from scratch I’ve cheated a bit and have used a korma paste.  This makes a really quick and easy but very tasty korma and a lot of curry pastes are naturally gluten and dairy free as well.

9.  Gluten and Dairy Free Summer Prawn Pasta

Prawns, courgette noodles and tomatoes are served with pasta shells in a light, lemon sauce.

10.  Gluten and Dairy Free Chicken and Cashew Noodles

When I go out for Thai food I always gravitate towards dishes that have cashew nuts in them – I love them in savoury dishes.  Rice noodles are naturally gluten free so are a great base for Thai dishes.

11. Gluten and Dairy Free Honey Sriracha Beef

Tender beef strips are coated in a simple honey and sriracha glaze then seared in a hot pan.  I served mine with roasted vegetables and fries.

12. Gluten and Dairy Free Sweet Potato Chilli Salmon Patties

You can make these sweet potato chilli salmon patties in advance, they store in the fridge overnight or you can put them in the freezer.  They are a little like a fishcakes but without the breadcrumb coating.

13. Gluten and Dairy Free Salmon Linguine

Flaked salmon served in a delicious creamy sauce over spaghetti.  I’ve also made my own gluten and dairy free garlic bread to serve as a side dish with the spaghetti.

14. Gluten and Dairy Free Smoked Chicken Sausage Pasta with Garlic Cream Sauce

One of my favourite pasta dishes, I love Marks & Spencer smoked chicken sausages.  They make a great addition to dishes like this and are also naturally gluten free.

15.  Gluten and Dairy Free Chilli Vegetable Stir Fry

If you are looking to increase your vegetable intake for the day then try this chilli vegetable stir fry.  Lots of vegetables with a sweet chilli sauce served on a bed of rice noodles.

A Guide to Gluten and Dairy Free Brunch

Brunch, a portmanteau of breakfast and lunch, is my favourite meals of the day.  It is perfect for a social situation of catching up with friends and I also sometimes enjoy it for a bit of alone time to catch up on my website.

Just because you are gluten and/or dairy free it doesn’t mean you should miss out on the pleasure of a good brunch.  If you are stuck for inspiration then I’ve pulled together a few of my favourite sweet, savoury and drink brunch recipes.

Something to Drink?

Whether you prefer a hot or cold drink, or both like me, here are some ideas for fancy flavoured coffee, freshly squeezed juices and smoothies.

Gluten & Dairy Free Iced Latte with Homemade Cinnamon Syrup

It is really easy to make your own cold brew coffee and cinnamon flavoured syrup at home.  Add a splash of your favourite dairy free milk and you have the perfect iced latte.

Gluten and Dairy Free Peanut Butter Cup Latte

This latte is based on a peanut butter cup and combines the lovely chocolate and peanut flavours into the coffee.

Gluten and Dairy Free Blueberry and Pineapple Smoothie

The pretty colour of this smoothie alone makes it a must have for your brunch table.  On the plus side the combination of the blueberries and pineapple ensures it tastes as good as it looks.

Gluten and Dairy Free ACE Juice

I first tasted ACE juice in Rome – it is freshly squeezed orange, carrot and lemon juice.  It is named ACE after the vitamins the juice is packed full of.

Something Savoury?

If you prefer a savoury dish for your special brunch.  Give one of these recipes a try.

Gluten and Dairy Free Breakfast Rolls

Gluten free rolls packed full of your brunch favourites – bacon, scrambled eggs, fresh tomatoes, spinach and of course some tomato ketchup.

Gluten and Dairy Free Poached Eggs with Chilli Lime Avocado

It seems you can’t have brunch nowadays without eggs and avocado.  This is my take, served on gluten free bread with a chilli lime avocado and a perfectly poached egg.

Gluten and Dairy Free Potato & Chicken Sausage Hash

A pretty breakfast bowl with pan fried paprika potatoes, onion, peppers and smoked chicken sausage all topped off with a sliced avocado.

Gluten and Dairy Free Tomato Chilli Baked Eggs

This humble little dish of eggs baked in a chilli tomato sauce is very satisfying – especially with a big piece of gluten free bread for dipping.

Something Sweet?

If like m you prefer a sweet start to the day then hopefully one of these recipes will catch your eye.

Gluten and Dairy Free Raspberry Ginger Smoothie Bowl

This bright smoothie bowl is a lovely sunny way to start the day.  It is flavoured with fresh raspberry and ginger and topped with lots of little fruit and granola treats.

Gluten and Dairy Free Gingerbread Pancakes

There is always time for pancakes – this time I’ve made them gingerbread flavoured.

Gluten and Dairy Free Chocolate Peanut Butter Pop Tarts

Remeber pop tarts from your childhood – makes me think of burnt fingers trying to fish them out of the toaster.  This version is more of a sophisticated breakfast pastry and is packed full of chocolate and peanut butter.

Gluten and Dairy Free Cinnamon Waffles

And of course you can’t have brunch without considering serving waffles, enough said.
