Gluten and Dairy Free Banana Split

Hello

This dessert is the stuff of dreams for me but a nightmare for my sister.  When I was about 6 years old (prior to being diagnosed with a dairy allergy) we went away from the weekend in the caravan.

I ate a giant banana split which was amazing at the time but not great later on.  Let’s just say it didn’t stay in my stomach overnight.  Unfortunately for my sister I was in the top bunk and she was in the bottom one.  She has never been able to look at a banana split again.  In the photo, I’m the smaller one in the snazzy red trousers.

Hopefully that disgusting story hasn’t put you off and you can enjoy your gluten and dairy free banana split.

Enjoy!

Gluten and Dairy Free Banana Oat Brownies

Hello everyone

One of my friends bought a gluten and dairy free chocolate brownie cake mix so he could make me a cake when I visited.  Even though I loved the thought he panicked and decided it was still a step to far and just gave me the cake mix still in the packet.

I made the brownies over Christmas and added some mashed banana to them.  I loved the combination and decided to try and make my own banana oat brownies.  I hope you like them.

Enjoy!

Gluten and Dairy Free Banana Muffins

Hello everyone

I fancied freshly baked muffins for breakfast last week – luckily this recipe can be on the table in 30 minutes.  Lovely fresh, fluffy muffins with banana and a little pinch of cinnamon and the kitchen was left smelling amazing while I ate breakfast.

These muffins also freeze well and taste great warmed in the microwave for a few seconds.

Enjoy!
