Gluten and Dairy Free Almond Butter Bites

Hello everyone

These are so simple to make I actually feel a bit cheeky calling this a recipe as it only has two ingredients.  They are a quick little snack to prepare on a Sunday night and do me for snacks for the rest of the week.

You can make these with any type of nut butter, it doesn’t have to be almond butter, peanut and cashew would work fine as well.  If you can’t have nuts you could try one of the nut free alternatives like Wow Butter or maybe a seed based butter.

Gluten and Dairy Free Almond Butter Bites

Makes 8


  • 200g dairy free dark chocolate, melted
  • 8 teaspoons almond butter


  1. Place 8 cupcake cases on a plate
  2. Put a small amount of the melted chocolate in the bottom of each paper case
  3. In the centre drop a teaspoon of almond butter
  4. Cover the top with a layer of chocolate
  5. Place in the freezer for 20 minutes or until set
  6. Remove the paper cases and enjoy
