Gluten and Dairy Free Spiced Cranberry Jam

A Christmas jam full of flavoursome cranberries and spiced with cinnamon, nutmeg and ginger


  • 500g fresh cranberries
  • 1 orange, juiced and zested
  • 3 teaspoons ground cinnamon
  • 2 teaspoons ground ginger
  • 1 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • 400 ml water
  • 250g granulated sugar


  1. Place the cranberries, orange juice, zest, cinnamon, nutmeg, ginger, water and granulated sugar in a large saucepan
  2. Bring to the boil and simmer for about 25 minutes
  3. Remove from the heat and pour into sterilised jars
