Gluten and Dairy Free Prawn Tikka Masala

Morning everyone

I’m in my first day back from holiday slump – got lots of washing to do and the usual post holiday unpacking. Instead of actually doing that I’m uploading recipes, thinking what cake I could bake today for the website and planning a little trip out for lunch.

  1. Gently heat the olive oil in a large shallow pan over a low heat
  2. Add the garlic and onion and saute for 5 minutes
  3. Add the prawns and cook for a further 2 minutes
  4. Stir in the tikka paste and cook for a minute
  5. Pour in the chopped tomatoes and simmer uncovered for 10 minutes
  6. Stir in the cream and season to taste with salt and pepper
  7. Serve with pilau rice and poppadoms
