Gluten and Dairy Free Peach and Ginger Cake

A simple but tasty little cake, the sweetness of the peaches is a perfect match to the warm spice of the ginger. This cake would make a lovely summer dessert served with a scoop of dairy free ice-cream.




  • 275g gluten free self raising flour
  • 1 tablespoon ground ginger
  • 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
  • 60g dairy free spread
  • 100g caster sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 125ml dairy free milk
  • 1 tablespoon dairy free natural yoghurt
  • 4 peaches, peeled, stoned and cubed


  1. Preheat the oven to 180ºC
  2. Beat together the dairy free spread and caster sugar until light and fluffy
  3. Whisk in the eggs
  4. Stir in the flour, ginger, cinnamon, milk and natural yoghurt
  5. Gently fold in the chunks of peach
  6. Pour into the cake tin and bake for 55 minutes
