Gluten and Dairy Free Green Tea, Banana and Berry Smoothie

serves / makes 1 large cup


  • 2 green teabags
  • 200ml boiled water
  • 3 tablespoons mixed berries
  • 2 teaspoons agave nectar or honey
  • 1 ripe banana


  1. Leave the teabags to infuse into the boiling water for 3 minutes
  2. Remove the teabags and allow to cool, I do this by using a bit less water and then adding some ice-cubes
  3. Place the berries, agave, banana and green tea in a blender and blitz until smooth
