Gluten and Dairy Free Garlic and Rosemary Kale Chips

Kale chips seem to be all the rage just now, a lot of cafes are now offering them as a healthier alternative to crisps. Although very tasty they can be pretty expensive, I bought a big bag of Kale from Tesco and had a go at making my own Kale chips.




  • 200g kale, stalks removed
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon minced garlic
  • 2 teaspoons rosemary
  • salt and pepper for seasoning


  1. Preheat the oven to 160 oC
  2. Place the kale in a large bowl and drizzle on the olive oil
  3. Add the garlic, rosemary, salt and pepper
  4. Toss the kale until it is well coated
  5. Divide between two baking sheets
  6. Bake in the oven for 15 minutes
  7. Allow to cool before enjoying
