Gluten and Dairy Free Cinnamon Donut Holes with Apple Sauce

I don’t like to waste anything so this recipe is perfect for using the holes you cut to make donuts.


  • 1 portion of the holes from the Donut Mixture
  • 2 apples
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon brown sugar


  1. Fry the donut holes for one minute, until they are golden and crisp
  2. Dust the donut holes with cinnamon
  3. Chop the apple into small pieces and place into a small saucepan
  4. Add a splash of water and a teaspoon of sugar
  5. Cook on a gentle heat until the apples are soft
  6. For a smoother sauce blitz in the blender
  7. Serve with the cinnamon donut holes as a dipping sauce
