Gluten and Dairy Free Cherry Choc Pancakes

I made these pancakes as a little treat for myself the other night. I decided to use defrosted frozen cherries for this as they are a bit juicier for topping the pancakes. As always I used ChocShot as my go to dairy free chocolate sauce.




  • 100g gluten free self-raising flour
  • 1 tablespoon caster sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 100ml dairy free milk
  • 2 tablespoons frozen cherries, defrosted
  • 1 tablespoon dairy free chocolate sauce, I used ChocShot


  1. In a large bowl stir together the flour and caster sugar
  2. Beat the egg and stir into the flour mix
  3. Gradually whisk in the milk until you have a smooth batter
  4. Heat a drizzle of oil in a shallow pan over a medium heat
  5. Add a quarter of the mix into the pan and cook for a couple of minutes on each side
  6. Repeat until you have cooked all the pancakes
  7. Top with the cherries and chocolate sauce
