GLuten and Dairy Free Banana and Maple Syrup Bars

  • 4 tablespoons pumpkin seeds, roughly chopped
  • 2 tablespoons chia seeds
  • 2 medium sized bananas, mashed
  • 100g dairy free spread, melted
  • 3 tablespoons maple syrup
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 180g gluten free oats
  • 100g sultanas


  1. Line an 8″ square baking tin with tinfoil
  2. Preheat the oven to 180 oC
  3. Mix together the pumpkin seeds, chia seeds, mashed banana, melted dairy free spread, maple syrup, ground cinnamon, oats and sultanas until well combined
  4. Pour into the cake tin and press down firmly
  5. Bake int he oven for 30 minutes
  6. Remove from the oven and allow to cool in the tin
  7. Remove from the tin and cut into 9 bars
