Gluten and Dairy Free Baked Apple & Cinnamon French Toast

Apple Baked French Toast

Ingredients
  

  • 2 slices of gluten free wholemeal bread
  • 120 ml dairy free milk
  • 3 tablespoons apple sauce
  • 2 tablespoons maple syrup
  • 1 egg
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 2 tablespoons sultanans

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the oven to 180 oC
  • Grease 2 individual ramekins
  • In a medium sized bowl whisk together the milk, apple sauce, egg, cinnamon and maple syrup
  • Stir in the sultanas
  • Tear the bread into bite sized chunks and stir into the milk mixture
  • Spoon into the 2 ramekins
  • Bake in the oven for 25 minutes
