Gluten, Dairy and Egg Free Christmas Cranberry Scones

I’ve given my basic gluten, dairy and egg free scone recipe a Christmassy twist making it the perfect afternoon tea treat for this time of the year. I’ve added some dried cranberries, orange zest and cinnamon to incorporate the best flavours of the winter months.





  1. Preheat the oven to 200 oC
  2. In a large bowl place the self-raising flour, xanthan gum and caster sugar
  3. Rub in the dairy free spread until it resembles bread crumbs
  4. Stir through the cranberries, cinnamon and orange zest
  5. Add the dairy free milk
  6. Shape into 4 scones
  7. Bake in the centre of the oven for 20 minutes
