Gluten and Dairy Free Smoked Bacon, Spinach & Mushroom Pasta

  • 180g gluten free pasta
  • 120ml dairy free cream
  • 200g mushrooms, sliced
  • 4 slices smoked bacon, cut into stripes
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 onion, finely diced
  • salt and pepper for seasoning
  • 2 teaspoons oregano
  • 2 large handfuls of fresh spinach


  1. Bring a large pan of salted water to the boil and cook the pasta over the instructions on the packet
  2. Place a drizzle of olive oil, garlic, onion, mushrooms and bacon in a shallow pan over a medium heat
  3. Saute for 5 minutes
  4. Stir in the cream and simmer for a couple of minutes
  5. Season with salt and pepper
  6. Mix in the oregano and spinach
  7. Stir the sauce through the pasta and serve immediately
