Gluten and Dairy Free Singapore Prawn Noodles

For the sauce:

  • 1 tbsp curry powder
  • 2 tbsps tamari
  • 1 tbsp fish sauce
  • 2 tsps apple cider vinegar
  • 2 tsps brown sugar
  • 2 tsps sesame oil
  • 1 tbsp water
  • pinch of chilli flakes


  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1/2 tsp ground ginger
  • 1 egg beaten
  • 1 onion diced
  • 1 pepper diced
  • 150 g prawns peeled and prepped
  • 150 g rice noodles


  • Whisk together all the ingredients for the sauce in a small bowl and set aside
  • Place the noodles in a bowl of boiling water for 5 minutes or until the noodles are tender
  • Drain away the water and set aside the noodles
  • Heat the olive oil in a large shallow pan over a medium heat
  • Add in the garlic, ginger, onion and peppers
  • Saut√© for 5 minutes
  • Stir in the prawns and beaten egg, pushing the egg around until it scrambles
  • Add in the noodles and pour in the sauce
  • Cook for a couple of minutes
  • Serve immediately
