Gluten and Dairy Free Glazed Sausages with Apple Slaw


For the sausages:

  • 500g gluten free sausages
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 1 teaspoon mustard

For the apple slaw:

  • 1/2 small red cabbage, shredded
  • 1 small red onion, finely sliced
  • 1 carrot, grated
  • 1 Granny Smith apple, grated
  • salt and pepper for seasoning
  • 100g dairy free mayonnaise
  • 1 tablespoon white wine vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon chives


  1. Whisk together the honey and mustard
  2. Brush the sausages with the honey glaze
  3. Cook the sausages in a shallow pan over a medium heat for about 12-15 minutes
  4. To make the slaw, mix together the mayonnaise and vinegar, season with salt and pepper
  5. Stir in the cabbage, onion, apple, carrot and chives
  6. Serve with the glazed sausages
