Gluten and Dairy Free Ginger Soy Salmon with Noodles


  • 150g gluten free noodles
  • 2 salmon steaks
  • 2 tablespoons sesame oil
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1/2 teaspoon Chinese 5 spice
  • 1 teaspoon dried chilli flakes
  • 1 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 1 small onion, finely diced
  • handful of green beans, finely sliced
  • handful of fresh coriander
  • 3 tablespoons, gluten free soy sauce
  • salt and pepper for seasoning


  1. Cook the noodles per the instructions on the packet
  2. Heat the sesame oil in a wok or large shallow pan
  3. Add the garlic, 1/2 teaspoon chilli, 1/2 teaspoon ground ginger and 5 spice
  4. Add in the vegetables and stir fry for 4 minutes
  5. Season with salt and pepper
  6. Add in the noodles and soy sauce
  7. Cook for a further 2 minutes
  8. Use the remaining chilli, ginger and seasoning to sprinkle on the salmon and cook for about 4 minutes on each side in a hot pan
  9. Serve the noodles with the salmon and some fresh coriander
