Gluten and Dairy Free Chocolate Peanut Butter Flapjacks


Serves 6


  • 150g dairy free spread
  • 100g soft brown sugar
  • 50g golden syrup
  • 50g peanut butter, I used crunchy
  • 225g gluten free porridge oats
  • 80g dairy free dark chocolate


  1. Preheat the oven to 180 oC
  2. Line a 6″ square tin
  3. Place the dairy free spread, brown sugar, syrup and peanut butter in a small saucepan
  4. Cook over a low to medium heat until melted and well combined
  5. Pour into a large bowl and stir in the oats
  6. Press into the tin and bake for 25 minutes
  7. Allow to cool for 10 minutes then make into bars
  8. Leave to cool completely in the tin
  9. Drizzle the melted chocolate on top
