Gluten and Dairy Free Cheese & Oregano Waffles

  • 1 egg
  • 125ml dairy free milk
  • 20g dairy free spread, melted
  • 70g gluten free plain flour
  • 1 teaspoon oregano
  • 2 tablespoons grated dairy free cheese, I used Violife
  • salt and pepper for seasoning


  1. Beat together the egg, dairy free spread and milk
  2. Whisk in the flour, oregano, grated cheese and seasoning
  3. Pour batter into a pre heated waffle iron and cook for 5 minutes or until golden brown
  4. Alternatively you can use this mix to make savoury pancakes
  5. I served my waffles with some tomato passata for dipping them in
