Gluten and Dairy Free Chutney

A quick chutney recipe perfect for including in my gluten and dairy free christmas hamper gift idea


  • 375g cherry tomatoes, halved
  • 1 red onion, diced
  • 1 garlic clove, crushed
  • 1/4 teaspoon chilli flakes
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 1 teaspoon ground coriander
  • 1 teaspoon ground cumin
  • 125ml white wine vinegar
  • 150g soft light brown sugar


  1. Place the onion, tomatoes, garlic, chilli, ginger, cumin and coriander in a large pan
  2. Add in the white wine vinegar and brown sugar
  3. Cook on a low heat until the sugar has dissolved
  4. Bring to the boil and then reduce the heat until it is simmering gently
  5. Cook until the mixture reduces to a jammy consistency
  6. Spoon into two small sterilised jars
