I can’t believe that it is September already – it is the first night I’ve had to put the light on during dinner which means the ends of photographing main meals during the week! I’ve just made myself a beautiful dairy free pumpkin spiced hot chocolate which I’m sipping while I work on updating the website. I love autumn flavoured hot drinks like this – I’ll type up the recipe and photograph it for the website this weekend when the light is better.
It felt like a while since I’ve done some traditional baking – the last few treats I’ve made have been desserts like cheesecake and banoffee pie. My parents were visiting for lunch so I quickly whipped together these little banana bread loaves packed with fresh blueberries. You can always increase the baking time for this recipe and do it as one large loaf cake.
